Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice combining gentle movement, breathwork, and meditation to promote energy flow, balance, and well-being. It helps cultivate inner calm and vitality, supporting both mental and physical health. In this playful and welcoming class, we explore these gentle practices to connect with your body, breath, and the rhythms of nature, fostering a sense of community and support.

Practical Details:

  • When: Wednesdays, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Where: The Old School House (TOSH), Gladstone Mews, Gladstone Road, BH7 6BJ

  • Duration: Weekly sessions (indoor during cooler months; outdoor from May to August)

  • Suggested Donation: £5–£12 (No one is turned away for financial reasons; additional donations are welcome to support accessibility.)

Monthly Pre-Booking — Sliding-Scale Donation (£20–£50 per month)

This class runs on a sliding-scale, honour-based donation model to support accessibility and community care.
You choose the amount within the £20–£50 range that feels right for your circumstances.

  • You select the classes you plan to attend each month.

  • Your donation covers all the classes you book for that month.

  • The upper end of the scale is there for those who feel able to contribute more, helping keep the class accessible to everyone.

Drop-In Option — £10 per class

If you prefer more flexibility or know you’ll attend less often, the drop-in option may be the best fit.
You can pay on arrival or by bank transfer the day before.

Flexibility

The sliding-scale approach is designed to keep the class welcoming, sustainable, and affordable for a wide range of people.
If your schedule changes frequently, drop-in may work better for you.

    Advance payments are non-refundable.
    Contributions may be reviewed in future in line with local CYC class rates.

    Paid on arrival or by bank transfer the day before.

    Missed Classes / Flexibility
    The minimum monthly contribution (£20) covers all classes you book for that month.
    If you prefer more flexibility or know you’ll attend less often, the drop-in option may work better.
    The upper end of the sliding scale (£50) is optional for those who wish to contribute more to support the sustainability of the class.

    Class Changes
    In the rare event that I need to cancel a class, you will be offered either an alternative date or a credit for a future session.

    Accessibility
