Qigong teacher Rakhee looks at the sea

About Me

I am a qigong and yoga teacher based in Bournemouth and Christchurch. My classes blend mindful movement, breath, and embodied exploration with a light-hearted, playful spirit, rooted in tradition but always leaving room for your own discovery. I bring rich imagery and thoughtfully designed sequences to my teaching, creating space for you to explore your own movement and emotional expression. You'll learn the forms, then be invited to move in ways that feel right for your body and let movement reveal what's alive in you.

Qigong & Yoga classes

Join me at St. Joseph's Hall in Christchurch on Tuesdays, or The Old School House (TOSH) in Boscombe on Wednesdays and Sundays. My classes blend rich imagery, mindful movement, and seasonal themes — you'll move like water, breathe with the earth, and explore what's alive in your body. You'll learn the forms, then be invited to adapt them in ways that feel right for you. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, you'll leave feeling energised, calm, and more connected to yourself.

Rakhee’s classes always challenge me to just the right degree - not too little, not too much. She comes up with fantastic sequences which have the perfect balance of reassuring familiarity and exciting novelty, energetic flow and meditative stillness. And she’s an amazingly supportive teacher who makes you feel really at ease and able to accept yourself as you are, and what you’re capable of in each asana. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
