qigong for winter wellbeing
resilience, grounding & seasonal support in christchurch
Saturday 18 October, 2:00–4:15pm
St Joseph’s, 67a Purewell, Christchurch, BH23
As the seasons begin to shift, this nourishing Qigong workshop offers you space to pause, reflect, and gently strengthen your energy for the months ahead.
Through accessible Qigong forms, mindful movement, and seasonal wisdom, we’ll explore how to cultivate and protect Wei Qi – the body’s energetic boundary – to support resilience during the colder months.
This practical and spacious session is designed to leave you feeling grounded, resourced, and inspired.
What to expect:
A short seasonal talk introducing the concept of Wei Qi
A series of simple Qigong forms to support grounding and energy flow
The Ren Wu Zang meditation
Space to workshop practices in small groups
Time for reflection and sharing
A workbook to take home and support your ongoing practice
Access to a short video to continue at home
This workshop is open to all – whether you're completely new to Qigong or looking to reconnect with your practice in a supportive space. The emphasis is on simplicity and consistency, helping you build a seasonal toolkit you can return to throughout winter.
