Monday Evening Qigong Class: Boscombe

Eighteen Forms (Shibashi): Flow, Ease, and Energy

Reawaken your energy and find ease at the start of the week.
Join me for Monday evening Qigong in Boscombe, Bournemouth, an hour of mindful movement, breath, and stillness to restore balance and vitality.

In February, we’ll explore the Eighteen Forms (Shibashi) – a flowing and graceful Qigong sequence that harmonises body, breath, and mind. Each movement encourages softness and openness, helping you release tension, improve circulation, and reconnect with your natural rhythm.

Whether you attend the full block or drop in for individual sessions, you’ll find a welcoming space to move, breathe, and unwind. This class is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some Qigong experience.

About the Eighteen Forms (Shibashi)

The Eighteen Forms (Shibashi) is a widely practised Qigong sequence. Developed in the late 1970s by Master Lin Housheng, it blends elements of traditional Qigong and Yang-style Tai Chi into eighteen flowing movements.

Each form gently coordinates movement and breath, encouraging relaxation, balance, and a smooth flow of energy throughout the body. The sequence draws inspiration from nature — waves, clouds, and trees — and can be practised by people of all ages and levels of experience.
